Video Card Compatibility.?

Ok, So i Just Recently Figured out that i have a PCI Express x16 Slot inside my computer. But all the cards i see around now all have PCI express 2.0 slots. Will a PCI Express 2.0 card work in my PCI Express x16 Slot? I have the motherboard DG31PR Intel Motherboard with Quad Processor. So just wondering. Thanks|||All versions of PCI Express are backwards compatible with each other. You just won't get the extra bandwidth that PCI Express 2 gives you.|||Yes, a PCI 2.0 will work in your PCIx16 slot, but the PCI x16 is a slower interface and might not fully utilize the power of whatever you're using.|||Yes...But don't get a card that will bottleneck because of your CPU...Meaning don't get a card too fast because your processor can't keep up with it.
