I am running a 4850HD, 4gb ram, i7 920, with a small 360watt powersupply
I would like to upgrade my case to a coolermaster Haf 922, and upgrade my video card to a 6950 and my powersupply to a antec earthwatts 650 watt.
Is it possible to do this with my current motherboard?|||Should be fine. That case holds ATX and Micro ATX, that mobo lists as a Micro ATX, so it will fit. the 6950 can work in any slot a 4850 can run in. Just don't try to run that video card until you've got that new power supply in. I believe that card asks for something like 500 watts minimum.
PS. You may need to remove the plate from your current case that all your mobo's plugs on the back go through (keyboard, mouse, USB, sound jacks, etc) and put it in your new case. They usually just pop out or unclip, maybe even have a couple screws holding them in, but ATX and Micro ATX have a different plug layout on the back, and even some motherboards don't use a standard layout.|||The plate I was talking about is the I/O shield. |||The only issue you might have is with the front panel to motherboard connectors. Most oem systems use a modular connector for the power led, power switch, hdd activity led, reset, etc, while custom cases will have individual connectors. If the pin outs are not marked on your motherboard, it may be necessary to trace the front panel wires to the motherboard and make a sketch of them so that you can reconnect them correctly.
This link shows the various motherboard connectors (no pin outs) that will help you with the other connectors.
