I want to know if may sound card is compatible with Direct X.
alright, i am installing these games such as Spore and Maelstrom on my new computer and it come with this Direct X 9.0 version to install. I want to know if the sound/video card that I have, i think it's a built in sound/video card, is compatible.|||new pcs will have directx 10 so your old pc with it's direct x 9 and XP will work together you need the correct drivers for both the audio card and video card
get them off the manufacturers website
