is there any way to tell what type of video card slot my computer has and how big the power supply is without opening the case? my computer (circa 2002) has the following specs are: 1200mhz processor, 512mb ram, with an intel 82810 integrated video chipset. the power supply has been replaced so i can't go by the factory specs for the power supply wattage. is there a site that has a scanner that will tell me the the power supply wattage and the type of video card slot my system has.i have tried diffrent system information scanners but all of them tell me everything but what i need to know.i am considering installling a video card for my system and i hate to buy one that won't work. is it possible that my computer doesnt have a slot for a video card since it has intergrate graphics. i also want to know if a video card that has ddr memory will work with a system that has sd memory. are there any other major factors for video card compatibility that i should be worried about.|||if you download Everest Home Edition, it's a great software program that will tell you everything and anything about your computer.

According to this site your motherboard has 3 PCI slots and no PCI X and AGP slots . If you are intended to upgrade try out the Ati PCI Graphics Card series on there website
www.ati.com|||anytime you have intergrated video you dont have a dedicated video card slot so the type of video card you want is gonna be a pci video card.... PCI not PCI x or pci express there is a big difference... any pci video card will work in your computer dont forget to disable the onboard video in the bios when you install the card... as far as your power supply i dont know what you got but there should be a label on it somewhere telling you what it is
