Video Card Compatibility... i need help on this...?

i am having Asus P5KPL-AM SE Intel core Quad Q8200 @2.33Ghz and my current graphic card is Nvidia Geforce 9400 GT PCI-E 2.0 and the width is single slot. i am looking at Nvidia Geforce GT440 PCI-E 2.0 x 16 dual slot for the upgrade.I dont know if my motherboard is compatible with GT 440.

Can anyone help??|||Gt 440 does't need any external power connector and u can use it on ur board without any problems as long as u have pci-e 2.0|||its not the mobo that needs to be compatible, its the power supply.

so long as the case has room for the double width card and you have

enough power supply connectors for it(each oem version may be

different in the connectors it offers) then you should be fine.

make sure you pick a model with the best external connectors

DVI is dying out, HDMI is nice to have, but

DisplayPort is taking over, but you need DP connections on lcd's|||Yes!! you won't have any problem with the card adjusting to your motherboard. Go for it!
