I have a hp compaq pavilion a747c. i bought a PNY - Verto NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card and my screen does not turn on.
Help|||Based on the fact that its a manufactured computer, one possible reason your screen wont show could be an inadequate power supply. Only other reason I could think of would be the card you bought is faulty.|||Check to see if you have slotted the 9400GT into the pci-e x16 slot properly, secure it with a screw at the rear.
